Online travel portal Travelzoo has unveiled a new search feature on their site called SuperSearch. This tool allows consumers to search multiple travel Web sites, including low-cost carriers.
Ralph Bartel, CEO of Travelzoo says, "With the addition of SuperSearch to our portfolio of products, Travelzoo will be a more complete and comprehensive provider of travel content because we can now service consumers who have concrete travel plans. We have become a trusted information source and SuperSearch is an important extension of that value."
The benefits of SuperSearch include:
• Saves time - Enter the information only once and the tool allows users to search multiple travel sites, resulting in fewer clicks
• Saves money - Find the best flight or hotel options through SuperSearch's recommended sites. Searches automatically include nearby airports for further savings
• Wider selection than current booking engines - Broaden search universe of travel providers, including low-cost carriers JetBlue, Southwest and Independence Air.
According to Travelzoo, SuperSearch is a free service for consumers. Participating travel companies pay on a cost-per-click basis for premium placement.
